ProvB Index - Update 1.3.0
ProvB Index
Has received a minor update featuring the ability to have Multiple Featured Posts, new Forum Feed Thumbnail Mode, and Outside Directory support. read the initial release. ![]() Multiple Featured Posts 2 Displaying methods - Display via javascript, with Next/Prev links (Like we do here). - One after another Outside Directory Use 100% Dummy Proof Unlike the other Outside Directory products, this one is simple to use. If you move the provb_index.php file to a directory outside your actual vBulletin, it will automatically suggest the full-path to use. It also keeps your css and javascript intact, leaving you with nothing to do but keep those image paths (and navbar links) full. Forum Feed Thumbnail Mode New feature to simply not show any thumbnails at all Other Minor Updates Image Fixes The image to expand description wasn't previously included - it is now. We also went through every single template to make sure we use full urls, for Outside Directory Support. There were also some issues with custom avatars, which was fixed as well. Enjoy your new vBulletin Homepage! Last edited by Gio~Logist; 02-06-2009 at 02:04 AM. |

If you want to make provb your home:
1.) Deactivate your board. 2.) change the name of index.php script to forums.php (or anything you choose) 3.) Then change the name of vBulletin option: Script Name for Forum Home Page from index to forums (or anything you'd like) 4.) then change the name of provb_index.php to index.php and it takes over as the front page. 5.) Reactivate your forum. |

Something I'd like to see:
The ability to show a different # of threads based on the forum in the forum feed. i.e. instead of simply putting the forum ID and the column ID, perhaps we could do all three? 3[1][5],5[2][5],4[3][10] Where 3 would be the forum, 1 would be the column ID, and 5 would be the # of items to display. |

Yea, that'd actually be really easy for me to do.
Just need to figure out the best way to approach it. Don't want anything to overwhelming in terms of huge forms to do this - which is why i usually use single-options like these. Maybe i can add cool features to each feeder and make it so that you separate the feeds by a line instead of a comma o_0 |
